The Glow

The day of the glow was one of the windiest day’s we’ve had yet.  It was the kind that takes shingles off houses and makes you think you’re going to blow right away.  All day we hoped the wind would die off so that we could go see the hot air balloons in Panguitch, but it never quit. After lots of debating, we decided to go anyway and if it didn’t happen, we’d at least have a nice drive over the mountain and delicious pie at The Pines in Bryce.  We had a yummy dinner too.  Just as we pulled into town, the wind was nowhere to be found!  We were so happy!!  At first there wasn’t any balloons inflated and we worried it quit too late in the game.  Luckily we were wrong and they were a glow! You both were enamored by the blowing balloons and watched very intently.  Charlotte, it was a little too magnificent for you at first but you got used to it.  It was such a great night..glow sticks and ice cream to boot!
