The shade was up from our friend BBQ (that I got no pictures of!) so we decided to fill a laundry basket with books and go read. Dad even joined us. Luckily we had just gotten a good load from the library. It was so funny Charlotte, we got this book “Move Over Rover” that you LOVED. You carried it around for days and would say “whoa whoa” (for dog). You didn’t really want it to be read to you, but rather to carry it and point to the dog. As you can see, you weren’t too in to the sitting and ready and got kinda MAD that we wouldn’t get up to play! You eventually sat to read your fav book but that was it. Lyla, you LOVED having both me and dad’s undivided attention and snuggling in the blanket to read.
ps. Charlotte. that day you wanted to wear that coat no matter what. No matter 85 degree weather. LOL
