Today we talked all about the Ocean; in preparation for Hawaii. We talked about the animals that live there and the sandy beaches and the sea shells. This bin had all sorts of sensory appeals; sea rocks to for the ocean floor, sea shells, white sandy beaches, and jelly for the water. You cant really tell it’s there but you two LOVED sticking stuff in and the reaction when you’ll pull things out of it. All of our animals visited the ocean today.
Later that day we went to our “beach” or “The Lake on the Hill” with Addie. Lyla instantly made comparisons between the sands and asked where the sea shells were. Good Question babe! You two LOVE the lake on the hill. We made any a trips to the water for out moat and did lots of digging. The sand there makes little mini pools that are just right for Charlotte. I think you two could spend all day there and never even think to eat!
