This morning we went to Ted’s Bakery for breakfast. They have the most amazing breads-croissants, etc that we’ve ever had. Lyla had lots of relaxing with the family and eating delicious food. After that we opted to go to Naked Beach again, since it would be our last chance. You both built a giant castle with Uncle Zach. It was so cute because it kept getting swept up by the waves and you would work so hard to build up a damn and then get so exaserbated when it again lost to the strength of the waves. What sweeties you two are. Uncle Zach also caught a HUGE crab. It was remarkable. It was a great way to end the vacation; at our favorite spot with the whole family.

We had to leave at 4am the next morning to begin our trek home. We did it with heavy hearts. You two did really well with the travel again!! What a blessing. The hardest part was the transitions. Dad had to return our rental car which left me and Melissa, 6 bags, two strollers and two carseats, along with you two trying to get through security. It was just insane because you had to be held in certain places and have your shoes off, etc etc. Well what ended up happening is we forgot about the carseats and left them on a bench prior to going through security. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!! I remembered as we were landing in Las Vegas. I spoke with the stewardess who couldn’t help much. When we landed I probably made 50 phone calls with no luck, Lost and Found is closed on Fridays (WHAT?) and no one seemed to know where they were. People kept saying they must’ve been stolen. Luckily Mom and Zach and Olya weren’t flying out until the next day so I knew I could get them home if only I could locate them. After waiting for our ride to our cars in Las Vegas for about 2 hours I finally got word they were found. I’ve never been so happy. By this time it was about 6pm--- we had been traveling for so long. We thought all the bumps were behind us when we ran out of gas about 10 miles from home. Good grief!

Other highlights included, the fresh fruit, 101 ways to eat Macadamia nuts, watching you girls’ skin turn brown and hair turn white, the juice, watching you two grow gills, and spending time togetherIMG_1057
