Dear Lyla and Lottie, all Christmas Season, I had been hassling dad to get our two little fake trees out and hook them up outside. Then it dawned on me, why use them as outdoor décor, when we could do something WAY more special; give each of you your OWN little tree for your bedroom! That night we set them up in each of your rooms. Lyla, you decorated yours with candy canes. You just LOVED that this tree was yours and would always say “my tree!”. We plugged it in every night.
