When we heard that Disney on Ice was going to be going on the weekend that we were going to be in Provo for me to go to a conference, we knew we had to go! They were doing Toy Story Three! We made a full trip of it. The first night we spent in Provo so I could go to a conference. It’s the longest I’ve ever been away from my babies!! Luckily I got to see you at lunch and on breaks and Dad said he had a great time one on one with you guys. We went swimming that night in a perfectly heated indoor pool and it was wonderful. The next day we met up with your cousins Taylee and Kyson and went back to the Living Plan Aquarium. You two love that place so of course it was a lot if fun as usual. We got to see an Octopus get fed!! Lyla, you were so intrigued and watched intently. Surprisingly, you were more timid this time than last and wouldn’t get anywhere near the stingrays. You loved everything else though. Lottie, you were much more interested this time. You would point and squeak and things that piqued your interest like the Otter. You LOVED the Otter and watched very intently. I can’t blame you because he was really silly, sliding down a little river and flopping about. We also got to see the Penguins get fed which was really neat. We got you two stuffed Turtles that you LOVED!
The next day was Disney on Ice. Aunt Callie came with us and we met Taylee and Kyson there! We had planned to take both of you, but last minute decided to have Grandma Bet watch Lottie. This because Lottie…you’re in a busy stage where you don’t want to sit still for two seconds. You also love climbing stairs. SO when you were screaming bloody murder on the way there because you needed a nap, I decided we better leave you. Sorry babe. Lyla, we really enjoyed a little date with you babe! I was SHOCKED at how entertained you were by the show. At first I think you were so overwhelmed by all the lights etc. that you didn’t know what to think of it all. You just starred. You eventually adjusted and became so excited and enthralled by it all. You loved the Ken and Barbie scenes which were hilarious. We also loved the alien scene where they get scooped up by the claw. We bought you a Jesse cup that you love and eat smoothies out of every day. We had a great trip and also enjoyed spending time with Grandma Bet and Aunt Shauna
