When We Go to Grandma’s House

{and wish we lived there.  AT least we got to swim in the hotel and enjoy there amazing parks.  Why doesn’t Cedar have such wonderful parks?}

.Celebrate Joyous Occasions.

.Ride in the Front Seat of The Car.

{Because there’s no Rules in Swan Lake (or traffic for that matter)}

.Visit the Neighbor’s Farm.

{The got to Feed the pigs and horses and pet the dog}

.Visit the New Kitties.

{Lyla was in love.  There was a blonde (yellow) one with bright blue eyes that was fittingly calling her name. It was also the runt of the litter.  I don’t know how we didn’t let her take it home}

.Play with Cousins.

{Lyla and Lottie couldn’t get enough and ran themselves raggid every day}

.Ride the Gitney to the Store for a Coke and Sweet’s Candy.

{I just know one day my little ones will reminisce about riding the Gitney to the store for treats.  It’s one of those little things that makes Grandma’s house special}

.Be Free.

{Sometimes I’m sadened by the realization that my children won’t have the uninhibited freedom of my childhood.  Luckily they’ll get snapshots of it and will be blessed with the beauty of knowledge in contrast}
